Willie will always be remembered by me as one of my late Grandfathers (Chester Michalak Sr.) closest and best friends. The laughter the two of them shared together I will always remember. In many ways Willie was like family to us and like an uncle to me!!

I'm deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Willie Conner. I remember the first time I met him. He was so loving and kind. He and his wife Burnessa took me in and treated me like their own. He was always there when I needed anything. He had such a big heart and had a big impact on my life. He had a beautiful smile that was contagious. He was more of a father to me, than my own dad ever was. He was such a great person to anyone he came in contact with. He helped anyone who needed it. That's just who he was. A man of God. I'm so lucky and blessed to have known him. I'm very thankful for everything he did for me. I will never forget the love he showed me. I will cherish these memories forever. RIP Willie. I love you and I will truly miss you. My thoughts and prayers for his wife Burnessa, his kids, and everyone else near and dear to him.
