William Bruce Krenning

William Bruce Krenning, 76, of Albion, NY entered into eternal rest at his home surround by his family on Monday, August 24 th 2020. He was the son of William S and Julia (Brinsmaid) Krenning. He was a graduate of Lyndonville High School class of 1962 and Cornell University. Bruce was a lifelong advocate for agriculture, education and cultural issues. He was a lifetime member of the Orleans County Farm Bureau. He served as the chairman of the Farm Bureau WNY regional advisory committee and held the position of Vice President of NY Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Lyndonville Central School District Board of Education, and a member of the Albion Central School Board of Education and served as their Board President. Bruce also served as the Chairman of the Board of the Medina Health Care System. He remained Vice President of Orleans Renaissance Group until his death, he was very passionate about bringing cultural events to the area. In 2014 he received the life-time achievement award from the Orleans County Chamber of Commerce.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Diane (Zybeck) Krenning, his children Amanda Krenning Muoio, Sarah ( Peter) Morin, Adam ( Betsy) Krenning, and Andrew ( Nicole) Krenning. His adoring 14 grandchildren, Emelia, Jacob, William, Elizabeth, Seth, Katherine, Olivia, Ella, Ryan, Madeleine, Andrea, Kyle, Nicolas and Kristen. Great grand children, Sean and Caroline. He is also survived by his sisters, Sue Hermonat and Cynthia (Dr. Thomas) Cunningham and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Louis Fredrick ( Ricky), his mother and father in-law Edmund and Elinor Zybeck, sister in-laws Karen Janas and Camille Champlain, brother in-law Alan Hermonat and son in-law Joseph Muoio.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at his home on 12932 Howlett Rd. Albion, NY 14411. From 11 AM-12PM, where a Celebration of his Life will be held at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Steve Devine officiating. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery.
