Wallace L. “Wally” Klino, 95, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the St. John’s Home, Rochester, NY.
Born on December 31, 1926 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Arthur and Leola (Bergeman) Klino.
He moved from Cleveland to the Lyndonville area in 1931 and enlisted in the U.S. Army at the tail end of WWII and was Honorably Discharged with the rank of Sargent. On returning home, he married the late, former Anna Lewis and together they raised three children. He received his Journeyman’s Card in tool & die making and was employed with E & M Enterprises of Middleport and lastly worked as an Senior Engineer at Rochester Products, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the County Line Methodist Church and in his spare time enjoyed working on old cars and going to car shows. He also was a jack of all trades having built his house and barn.
He is survived by his three children, James (Lorraine) Klino of Lockport, NY, Sherilyn Klino of Rochester, NY, Kathyleen Marshall of N. Carolina, four grandchildren, James L. (Ruth) Klino II, Jeffrey J. (Maria) Klino. Christy Marshall, and Erin (Trey) Johnson. Also, surviving are seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, Wally is predeceased by two sisters, Norma Jean Nellist and Delores Coke and a infant brother, Speery Arthur Klino.
Relatives and friends may call on July, 29, 2022 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098 from 11 AM-1 PM where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery with full military Honors.
