Sarah E. “Sally” Quintern passed away on Thursday November 4, 2021 at United Memorial Hospital in Batavia NY at the age of 87.
Sarah (Sally) born on February 1, 1934 in Lyndonville NY was the daughter of the late Arthur Mills Eberle and Stella Doretta Rynders. Sarah graduated from Lyndonville Central School in 1951. She attended some college at Erie Community College in Buffalo NY. She married the late Robert Laverne Quintern and together they raised their two daughters. Sarah worked for Lyndonville Central School lunch monitor touching the lives of many children. Sarah was a lifelong member of the Lyndonville United Methodist Church. Sarah took pride in her community by volunteering as a Twig at the Medina Memorial Hospital for many years. Sarah was an avid walker, golfer and loved a good cup of coffee with friends. Sarah is survived by her two children Maria Quintern and Emily Quintern Blanar. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Sierra and Sedona Blanar. She is also survived by her brother John Eberle (Betsey) and sister Mary Anderson.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Catherine Spink and brothers William and Richard Eberle.
We all cherish our memories of Sarah and ask you to lift a cup of coffee in remembrance of her.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on a later date to be announced in July of 2022.
