Rose B. Tabor

Rose B. Tabor, 74, of Medina, NY, entered into rest after a long illness on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Hildebrandt Hospice, Rochester, NY, with her loving family at her side.

Born on June 27, 1952, in Hampton, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Carrie (Riley) Malone.

In 1968, Rose moved to the Medina area and worked for Fisher-Price; after it closed, she returned to school to earn her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. Rose worked at area nursing homes and retired from the Villages of Orleans in 2014. In her spare time, Rose enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

Rose is survived by her four children, Eloise (Calvin) McPherson of South Carolina; Stephanie Tabor of Medina, NY; Jessie (Meghan) Tabor III of Medina, NY, and Sherrie Dawson of Buffalo, NY. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother, Marvin Malne of California.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 4 PM-7 PM. A private service will be held at the family's convenience.
