Roger Rosenberg Obituary

Roger L. “Rosie” Rosenberg, 72, of West Shelby, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side.

Born on August 28, 1946 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Falker) Rosenberg.

Roger served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1967 and upon returning home was employed for 38 years with Harrison Radiator of Lockport, NY. He was an avid hunter and played for the Junior Wilson Sportsman’s Horseshoe League. Most of all, Roger enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and neighbors.

Roger is survived by his wife of 31 years, Bridget Rosenberg, four children, Lori Rosenberg of Albion, NY, Steve (Cathy) Rosenberg, Kelly (Lawrence Sparks) Morrison. Harry (Stephanie Maquardt) Morrison, all of Medina, NY, 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three siblings, Linda (Ross) Conway of Piffard, NY, Dale (Denise) Rosenberg of Akron, NY, Cathy Bauer of Cheektowaga, NY and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6 PM-9 PM at the Shelby Fire Hall, 4695 S. Gravel Rd. Medina, NY with full Military Honors being accorded by the members of Lincoln Post #1483 Veterans of Foreign Wars and Butts –Clark Post #204 American Legion promptly at 6:00 PM.

Arrangements were made through the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103.
