The family of Ray B. Kopitzki is sad to announce his passing on November 10, 2022. Born on July 25, 1941 he was the son of the late Fritz and Norma Kopitzki of Shelby Center, NY.
Ray was a longtime resident of Lyndonville, Medina and most recently of Holden Beach, NC. Ray served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from GM Harrison Radiator Division, Lockport, NY.
Besides his parents Ray was predeceased by his first wife Edna E. (Brazzell) Kopitzki of Medina, NY in August of 2002, second wife Gladys M. Britt of Holden Beach, NC in July of 2022. Brothers Fritz, Paul (Corky), sisters Norma Chambers, Marie DeWitt, Rita Kopitzki all of Medina, NY.
He is survived by his three children, Cheryl (Brad) Albone of Medina, Fritz (Dawn) Kopitzki of Conesus, NY and Rhonda (Keith) McKinney of Aberdeen, NC, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one on the way. Sisters Grace (the late Ray) Guzik of Medina and Barbara (Fred) Eggleston of Durham, NC, Sister-in-law Shirley DePalma of Medina and several nieces and nephews.
According to Ray's wishes there will be no calling hours. There will be a graveside service at the Bates Road Cemetery on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM. .
