Ralph W. "Bill" Neal

Ralph William "Bill" Neal, 76, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 1, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1946 in Lyndonville, NY and resided there his entire life. He was the son of the late Ralph Kenneth and Jeannette (Barry) Neal.

Bill was a 1965 graduate of Lyndonville Central School, attended Roberts Wesleyan College, and worked at a number of local businesses, including Abex and Kodak. He was a member of Yates Baptist Church, having served as head usher at different times. Bill was a gifted photographer, an avid hunter, and an active hiker. He enjoyed reading, talking about sports (Go Bills!), and spoiling golden retrievers (especially Wyatt, Matthews, and Rogers). He was a devoted brother and a loving uncle—staying connected with many generations of nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brother Kenneth Barry Neal and sisters Elizabeth Vallance and Barbara Dunn.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Dorothy Neal of Lyndonville, NY and ten nieces and nephews: Jon (Carol) Neal of Lyndonville, NY, Carole (Glen) Steffler of Beaver Falls, PA, Colleen (Jim) Figucia of Woburn, MA, Lynn Neal of Winston-Salem, NC, Cindy (Mark) Woodard of Summerville, SC, Dan (Tim) Dunn of Wellfleet, MA, Tim (Elaine) Dunn of New Carlisle, Ohio, Beth Dunn of Mabank, Texas, Mary (Gary) Landsberg of Whitsett, NC, and John (Kristal) Vallance of Spokane, WA; as well as several great nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at Yates Baptist Church, 11365 E. Yates Center Road, Lyndonville, NY 14098.

Memorials may be made in Bill's name to Yates Baptist Church.
