Philip J. MacDonald

Philip J. MacDonald, 68 of Lyndonville, entered into rest on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport.

Born on May 3, 1950 in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Peters) MacDonald.

Phil graduated from Lyndonville H.S. and married the former Diana Godfrey. Together, they raised three children. Phil was elected Highway Superintendent for the Town of Yates. He owned and operated Phil’s Auto Repair, later in life Phil drove truck for Keeler Construction of Albion. Phil's passion's included NASCAR, model trains, woodworking, but, mostly puttering in the garage with his children.

He dearly loved his children. Diana and Phil shared 43 years, Phil is survived by his loving wife, five children, Greg (Marcqui Brown) MacDonald, Tracey (Scott) Garbutt, Jeff (Heather) MacDonald, Stephanie MacDonald and Philip John MacDonald 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sibling Linda (Fred) Puleo, several nieces and nephews.

Sadly Phil was predeceased by his sister, Ann (Larry) Meister.

Relatives and friends are asked to attend his memorial service at Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098 Saturday, December 1st. 2018 at 2pm, Rev. Rod Klinzing will officiate.
