Paul J. Heiligenthaler

Paul J. Heiligenthaler, 66, of Medina, NY, passed away on September 7, 2023, at the Martin-Linsin Residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on June 12, 1957, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lois (Dillion) Heiligenthaler.

Paul graduated from Medina High School in 1975 and graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and then a Law Degree from the University of South Carolina. At one time, he was employed in the oil fields of North Dakota and enjoyed his time there. Paul had strong family values, having taken care of his mother and stepfather in their later years. He enjoyed spending time with his brother, Scott, and especially with his son, Joseph. Paul was an avid poker player and was a devoted SU Basketball fan.

Paul is survived by his son, Joseph, a sister-in-law, Peggy, a nephew, Jason, and his great-nephew, Bryson, and other nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Paul is predeceased by his beloved brother, Scott.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Millville Cemetery, East Shelby Rd. Medina, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s name to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 Rt. 31 West, Albion, NY 14411.
