Patricia F. Watson

Patricia F. Watson, 94, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the North Wing at Medina Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 9, 1932, in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Charlotte (Sargent) Armsden.

Pat graduated from Medina High School in 1950, married the late Benjamin Watson, and together they raised four children. Along with her husband, they owned and operated the Watson Tavern in Knowlesville in the 70’s through the 80’s. She also worked at FMC in Middleport and lastly retired from Bernzomatic. She was an active member of the Grove Methodist Church. Pat had a zest for life and wanted to experience all that life had to offer. Even at the ages of 80 and 85, she went skydiving. and was the Matriarch of the family, enjoying all the family get-togethers.

Pat is survived by her children, B. Karl (Elsa) Watson of Florida, Sue Weese, James (Cheryl) Watson, all of Medina, NY, and Ann (Dan) Smith of Lockport, NY. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Pat was predeceased by her brother, Paul Armsden.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, July 11 th, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Grove United Methodist Church, 11004 W. Center St. Medina, NY 14103, where a memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pat’s name to the North Wing at Medina Memorial Hospital, 200 Ohio St. Medina, NY 14103 or to the Grove Church.
