Milford S. Dunn

Milford S. Dunn, 90, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the Martin-Linsin Residence, Albion, NY.

Born on February 11, 1929 in Alabama, NY, he was the son of the late Samuel and Madeline (McKay) Dunn.

Milford graduated from Medina High School in 1947 and married the former Joan E. Pringle on April 16, 1949 and together made their home in Lyndonville, NY where they raised three daughters. Milford worked as a Supervisor for the Lyndonville Canning Co./ Bowman Apple Products. He retired after 27 years of service to Bowman’s. He was a member of the Yates Baptist Church, holding the positions of Deacon, Trustee, and Treasurer. Milford was a former Lyndonville Village Board Member and former Lions Club member. In his spare time, Milford enjoyed woodworking, golfing and spending time with his family. Milford was a kind and gentle man, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Milford is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Joan E. Dunn, three daughters, Christine (Danny) Krisher of Medina, NY, Patricia (Paul) Spaeth of Olean, NY, Janice (Randy) Heideman of Medina, NY, ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson, a brother, Ray (Barbara) Dunn of Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Milford is predeceased by a grandson, Jon Krisher, a brother, Marvin Dunn and a sister, Jane Jones.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 10 AM -12 PM at the Yates Baptist Church, 11365 E Yates Center Rd, Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM with the Pastor, Rev. Lyell Drake officiating. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Milford’s name to the Yates Baptist Church.
