Marilyn L. Poss

Marilyn L Poss, 75, of Medina, NY entered into rest on February 10, 2023. Born January 24, 1948 in Montrose IA, she was the daughter of Ernest and Margaret L (Kite) Curtis.

Marilyn grew up in San Diego, CA after her father was transferred with his job. There she met her future husband, Ronald Poss, in 1962. They were married in July 9, 1966. After raising 3 children Nancy (Poss) Traxler, Donna (Poss) Morrow, and Kevin Poss, she decided to go to school to be a nurse. After graduating from Southeastern Community College with her RN, she decided to spend her time helping elderly at nursing homes in the area until she retired. Once retired she enjoyed spending time with her kids and taking care of her animals.

She is predeceased by her twin sister Carolyn (Curtis) Pinto of Philadelphia, PA, her parents Ernest and Margaret Curtis.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Poss, her oldest sister Sandra Scholl, her children Nancy (Mark) Traxler, Donna (Mark) Morrow, and Kevin Poss. She will also be missed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours, a celebration of life will be held at the Medina VFW on February 17, 2023 from 4-6.
