Marie H. "Bridge" Sarchia

Marie H. “Bridge” Sarchia, 85, of Medina, NY, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, NY.

Born on November 12, 1932 in the Town of Ridgeway, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Lula (Eckert) Pogel.

Marie grew up in the Town of Ridgeway and graduated from Medina High School in 1952. She married the late Joseph W. Sarchia on June 14, 1958 and together they made their home in Medina. She worked for a number of years at the former W.T. Grant Co. in Medina up until its closing. Marie cherished the time with her family, especially with her nieces and nephews.

Marie is survived by a sister, Nettie Sylvester of Medina, NY, a niece, Carolyn Murray of Lockport, NY and many other nieces and nephews.

Relative and friends may call on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10 AM-12PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 12 Noon with the Rev. Daniel J. Fawls officiating. Entombment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Medina.

Memorials may be made in Marie’s name to the Holy Trinity Parish, 211 Eagle St. Medina, NY 14103.
