Lois E. Heiligenthaler Morse, 86, of Medina NY, entered into rest on Thursday, October24, 2019 at the Medina Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 9, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hazel (Harmer) Dillon.
Lois was a dedicated member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, where she served on the Women's Guild and taught Sunday school in the early 1950’s. She was very active in Women of the Moose. She served in all offices rising to be New York State Deputy Grand Regent, the top position in the state and in 1999 she received an international appointment to become a member of the Grand Council. She married Joseph A. Heiligenthaler Jr. on May 7, 1955, who later predeceased her on January 7, 1988. She later married Phillip R. Morse Sr. on May 25, 1997, who also predeceased her on February 1, 2017.
Lois is survived by her children, Scott (Peggy) Heiligenthaler, Paul Heiligenthaler, all of Medina, David W. (Elizabeth) Heiligenthaler of Mooresville NC, grandchildren, Matthew, D. Adam, Jason, Joelle, Joseph, Sara, Emma Heiligenthaler, a great grandson, Bryson Heiligenthaler, step-children, Cindy (Allen) Clark, Phillip R. Morse Jr., Connie (Wayne) Rensimer, Cathy (John) Cain, Carol (Paul) Klinger.
Besides her husbands, Lois is predeceased by brother, Donald L. Dillon.
Relatives and friends may attend a graveside committal at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Millville Cemetery, East Shelby Rd. Medina.
