Lawrence John "Larry" Kosiorek

Lawrence John “Larry” Kosiorek, 79, of Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on July 12, 2026, after a brief illness.

Larry was born on April 1, 1947, in Batavia, NY, and was the eldest son of the late John L. and Betty A. (White) Kosiorek.

After graduating in 1967 from Medina High School and the O/N BOCES Auto Body Tech program, Larry enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge, Larry returned to his passion for auto body repair. Larry’s love of dogs took him to Germany, where he learned to train dogs, using the German language. Larry is survived by a brother, Gary “Rich” (Sandra) Kosiorek; a sister, Katherine Pawlaczyk, his son, Larry Jon (Monique) Grabowski; his daughter, Tanya Ferguson; grandsons, Drake and Gage Grabowski, granddaughters, Alyssa and Shelby Ferguson; a great-granddaughter, two great-grandsons, a niece and several nephews.

A private interment with full military honors was held on August 10, 2026, at the Boxwood Cemetery, Medina, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Larry’s name to a Veterans Club of one's choice.
