Lawrence G. Andrew

Lawrence G. “Larry” Andrew, 69, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at his home.

Born on July 4, 1957, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Glenn and Helen (Crowley) Andrew.

At an early age, Larry developed a passion for farming and graduated from Medina High School in 1976. He worked as a mechanic and forklift operator for H H Dobbins of Lyndonville while farming his land and raising cattle and pigs. He also drove truck for several area businesses, even after his retirement. Larry enjoyed being home on the farm, at his cabin that he built with his two sons. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed being by water.

Larry is survived by his three children, Michelle and Scott Andrew, both of Gasport, NY; and Sara (Jim) Hults of Basom, NY; two grandchildren, Deanna Andrew of Orchard Park, NY, and Emeri Andrew, of Wilmer, TX. Also surviving are two siblings, Susan (Deb) Stone-Walls of North Carolina and Philip (Tracy) Andrew of South Carolina; an uncle, Laverne “Bud” (Maxine) Crowley of California; and several nieces and nephews, and many close friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, Larry is predeceased by a son, Christopher Andrew.

There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
