Laura Yates Obituary

Laura Ann Yates, 44, of Medina NY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at her home while she slumbered.

Born on October 18, 1975 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of John and Margie (Watts) Stachewicz Jr.

Laura graduated from Medina High School in 1992 and worked as a Developmental Aide for the State of New York and the ARC. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a devoted mother to her son Jacob and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Laura is survived by her son, Jacob, siblings, Kim (Josh) Phillips of South Carolina, Christopher Stachewicz of Buffalo, and Katherine Stachewicz of Shelby Center. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her former husband, Heath Yates of Medina.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, January 4th, 2020, from11AM-1PM at the Antioch Anabaptist Church, 4649 Alabama Rd. Shelby Center (Medina) NY 14103, where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM with the Pastor, Rev. Steven Pawley officiating. Burial will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the family to help in the raising of Jacob.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103.
