Karl M. Weaver

Karl M. “Uncle Mack” Weaver, 84, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital.

Born on October 30, 1934 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late John and Jean (McClive) Weaver.

Karl grew up in Amherst, NY and graduated from Amherst High School in 1952. He then attended Alfred University, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. Karl married the former Frances Osiecki on August 12, 1967and together they made their home in Medina. He was employed as a Meter Reader with the Village of Medina for 23 years, retiring in 1996. Karl attended the First Baptist Church of Medina, NY and Community Fellowship Church of Middleport, NY. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his family and was known for his love of what life had to offer.

Karl is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances Weaver, 3 children, Debbie (Blaine) Becking, Katherine Lozo and John Weaver, all of Medina, NY, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Jean Kenward of Medina, NY, and a niece, Nancy (Timothy) Pratt of St. Louis, MO and a nephew, Richard (Katherine) Weaver of Dallas, TX.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, 203 West Center St. Medina, NY 14103, with the Pastor, Rev. Michael Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery.
