Karen L. Webster, 79, of Brockport, NY, formerly of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 3, 2223, at the Villages of Orleans.
Born on May 8, 1944, in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Kermit and Dorothy (Rosekrans) Beadle.
Karen graduated from Holley High School in 1963 and married the late David Webster, and together, they raised two children. She worked various jobs, including the Hallmark Store, State Farm, and lastly, as a seamstress. She was an active member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 381, and the Daughters of the Nile and was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Medina. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and baking, especially making her famous cheesecake., but most of all, she cherished spending time with her family on Sundays.
Her two children survive Karen, Jeffrey (Lauren) Webster of Lancaster, PA, and Lisa (Tosh) Bitsas of Spencerport, NY, Lovingly known as Nana to her four grandchildren, Kiki, Ana, Niko Bitas, and Brenleigh Webster. Also surviving is a brother, Kermit (Rose Marie) Beadle of Holley, NY, a nephew, John Beadle of Brockport, NY, and a niece, Kathy (Scott Hamlin Sedore of Holley, NY, and a great-niece, Jessica Sedore.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 11 AM- 12 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 522 S Main St, Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM. The Order of the Eastern Star will perform her Burial Rites, before the start of the funeral. Burial will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen’s name to the First Presbyterian Church.
