John R. "J.R." Bale

John R. “J. R.” Bale, 68 of Medina NY, passed away on Sunday March 15, 2020 at his home.

Born on December 12, 1951 in Medina NY, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Beatrice L. (Reigle) Bale.

John was a model train enthusiast and worked on many layouts, including working with his close friend Marty Phelps at the Medina Railroad Museum. He was a former Lions Club member for both the Medina and Coatesville PA Chapter. John is survived by his two children, Amy (Benjamin) Barry of Lyndonville; Andrew (Ann) Bale of Medina and many grandchildren, three siblings, Jeffery, William Bale, Dawn (Gary) Marciszewski , all of Medina and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, John is predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Bale.

There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John’s name to American Diabetes Association, 4955 N Bailey Ave #217, Amherst, NY 14226.
