Gary A. James

Gary A. “Burple” James, 66, of Medina, NY, found peace and is rejoined in heaven with his mother on March 17, 2022 at his home, with his loving family at his side.

Born on December 31, 1955 in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur James and Marjorie Hurt.

In 1974, Gary graduated from Medina High School and on August 9, 2003 he married the former Brenda Lewis and together they made their home in Medina. He is survived by his wife Brenda, four children, Jeremy, Elonna, Leo, Kyla and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, seven siblings, Danny, Carol, Steve, Scott, Wayne, Randy, and David James. Also surviving are many other extended family, nieces, and nephews and his cat Charlie.

Relatives and friends may attend a memorial service at 2:00PM on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church, 522 S. Main St. Medina, NY 14103. Burial will be private for the family.
