Gary S. “Corky” Beiersdorf, 76, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, NY.
Born on May 18, 1944, in N. Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Blanche (Thursby) Beiersdorf.
Corky graduated from N. Tonawanda High School in 1961 and on January 5, 1965, he married the former Nancy Gondek. He worked as a machinist for various jobs and lastly for Harrison Radiator, retiring in 2005, after 30 years of service. Corky was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Lyndonville and had a passion for drag racing and restoring cars.
Corky is survived by his wife, Nancy, two children, Cari (Lewis) DuBois of Niagara Falls, NY, Timothy (Cathy) Beiersdorf of Lyndonville, NY, three grandchildren, Steven, Bethany and Luke, a great-granddaughter, Paisley, a brother, Tom (Karen) Beiersdorf of FL and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake/ St. Joseph’s Parish, 38 Lake Ave. Lyndonville, NY 14098. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Corky’s name to the American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620.
