Eugene "Genie" Roberts Sr.

Eugene Roberts Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at his home.

“Genie,” as he was lovingly known by family and friends, spent much of his adult life working at Keeler Construction, Kleen Bright, and Dunham Farms. He was known for his hardworking spirit and dedication to his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife, and granddaughter.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Jeannie Lavette Roberts, Shametra Jada McKenzie, Akira (Donald) Sims, Eugene Roberts Jr., and Shaniqua April Roberts; his sisters, Lois (Jack) Byrd and Louise (Cleo) Stucky; nine grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and close friends.

Genie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10 AM-12 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 12 Noon. Burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery.
