Edwin F. Michel Sr.

Edwin F. Michel Sr. 80, of Lyndonville, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, August 17, 2020.

Edwin is survived by his loving wife and partner in all things, Carole. His sons, Edwin jr (Lee) and Jeffrey (Kathryn), grandchildren Steven and Sean. Brothers Carl (Beverly) and Fred and Sister Gloria (Berkley), mother-in-law, Albertina Salvo. Several nieces and nephews and many many friends and acquaintances.

He is predeceased by his parents Edwin and Ella Michel and sister in law Carol Michel.

Edwin was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Ed and Carole, through accommodating each other’s frailties and supporting each other’s dreams and endeavors wholeheartedly, were blessed to have 58 wonderful years together. His great joy was his family and he created a place for them all to enjoy at the lake. Edwin was involved in his community first in his birthplace of Baltimore, and then when he moved to Western NY and Naples, FL, he involved himself generously in many causes, one of his favorites being the Lyndonville library. Edwin was known for his wise decisions, generous nature and a quick sense of humor. Edwin was an owner/partner of Sieck Floral Distributing, located in Buffalo.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. We will celebrate the wonderful influence he was in so many ways and in so many lives.
