Douglas John Hinkley

Douglas John Hinkley, 47, of Brockport, NY, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his home.

Born on September 20, 1973 in Medina, NY, he was the son of Randall Hinkley and the late Barbara Rose (Brown) Hinkley.

Doug graduated from Albion High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Upon returning home, Doug worked locally as a carpenter and roofer. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Doug will be remembered as always giving a helping hand to anyone that asked.

Besides his dad, Doug is survived by his loving companion, Stacia, siblings, Scott Hinkley of Florida, Michelle Curtiss of Albion, NY, a son, Douglas Hinkley Jr. also, many nieces and nephews and two furry companions, Jack & Jill.

Relatives and friends may call from 1PM-2PM on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God, 12111 Ridge Rd, Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with the Pastor, Rev. Daniel A. Thurber officiating. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.

Private family burial will be held at the Mount Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Doug’s name to the Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church.
