Dolores C. Potrubacz

Dolores C. Potrubacz, 85, of Medina, NY, went home to her heavenly family on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

Born on April 29, 1937, in Medina NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Majewski) Matusak.

Dolores graduated from Medina Highschool in 1955 and married Chester Potrubacz in 1961, together they raised two children. She was employed for over 50 years for the Linens & Lingerie by Johnston’s. Dolores was a lifelong communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Medina, where she was an active member in the choir and Rosary Altar Society. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting and knitting and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Dolores is survived by her loving children, Michele (Clifford) Barber of Medina, NY, and Mark J. Potrubacz of Gasport, NY, three grandchildren, Jeremy J. (Melissa) Russo, Benjamin J. Russo and Gary A. (Karen) Barber, seven great-grandchildren Blake, Kennedy, Anna Marie Rose, Brooks, Paxton, Jaxson, and Delaney Grace. Also surviving is a cousin, Gloria Kuhn of Albion, NY and two sister-in-law’s and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Dolores is predeceased by seven siblings, Raymond, Leonard, Francis, twins Joseph and Rose Marie, Bernadine Tabelski and Arlene Stevenson.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl Street, Medina NY 14103 where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
