Cheryl L. Bearss, 47, of Lyndonville, NY, entered into rest on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.
Born on September 20, 1976, in Randolph, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Mary Edith (Flick) Sheldon.
Cheryl graduated from Medina High School and married the late Paul Bearss on September 7, 1996. Together, they raised three daughters. She worked as a Manager for a McDonald's Restaurant in Oswego, NY, and worked various other jobs locally. Cheryl enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and was a full-time babysitter for her family and friends.
Cheryl is survived by her three daughters, Brittany Bearss of Nebraska, twins Brianna and Brooke Bearss, both of Medina, NY; six siblings, Alice Kionka of Indianapolis, Maevonne (Ernest) Luckman of Knowlesville, NY, Shelly (David McKeever) McAdoo of Medina, NY, Gerald (Cheryl) Dona of Albion, NY, Mark (Heather Kenward) Sheldon of Medina, NY, and John Sheldon of Medina, NY. Also surviving is a mother-in-law, Sandra Hinckley of Medina, NY, and several cousins, Nieces, nephews, and other extended family in Vermont.
Besides her parents and husband, Cheryl is predeceased by two sons, Nicholas and James.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 11AM-1PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM.
