Carlos M. “Uncle Charlie” Arcadio, 91, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his home.
Born on March 15, 1928 in San German, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Pepe and Angelina (Arcadio) Morales.
Carlos moved to the Medina area from Puerto Rico, where he was reunited with his wife Monserrate Arcadio, who passed in 1998. He was employed for 23 years with the Whiting Door Co. of Akron NY, retiring in 1991. Carlos enjoyed staying fit, especially going for walks and working out at the YMCA.
He is survived by three children, Santa Sambolin of Medina NY, Juan (Della) Morales of Holley NY, Maria (Anthony) Pagliel Jr. of Lockport NY; nine grandchildren, Leanta, Luciano, Hunter, Alina, Nicole, Santino, Anthony III, Tanya, Samantha; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and good friends.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, from 4PM-8PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Richard Csizmar officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
