Bryan G. “Duke” Wheatley, 61, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Monday, September 20, 2021 at his home.
Born on August 28, 1960 in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Wilfred G. and Jane (Brazzell) Wheatley.
Bryan graduated from Medina High School in 1979 and was employed with Bells Supermarket. On July 20, 1985, he married the former Lisa Cornelius and together they raised two daughters. Bryan worked various jobs including the Arc of Orleans, American Sigma Inc., Trek Inc. and lastly as a custodian for Medina Schools. Bryan was proud and active 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus #651, a member of the Medina American Legion and Junior Wilson Sportsman Club. He was an avid fan of all sports and was a diehard Dallas Cowboy, Buffalo Sabres and New York Yankees fan. Most of all, Bryan enjoyed spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lisa Wheatley, daughters, Jaclyn (Dustin Roulier) Wheatley and Brooke (Nic) Vagg and two grandchildren, Ruby Roulier and Greyson Vagg, two brother-in-law’s Bill Cornelius and Mark (Joanne) Hopkins. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew and his furry companion, Shrek.

Relatives and friends may call from 10-12 Noon on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. Funeral service and burial will be private for the family.
