Anna McMahon

Anna McMahon, 83, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home.

Born on April 13, 1940, in Newburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Scarpa) Alberts. Anna grew up in Garfield, NJ and attended school in Passaic, NJ. On December 1, 1956, she married her first husband, Robert McMahon, and raised four children together. She was employed as a clerk at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. In 1985, she later married the love of her life, Vincent McMahon, and after their retirement, they lived in several states and finally settled in Lyndonville, NY. Anna was an active Nutley Junior Women’s Club member in New Jersey. She enjoyed creating ceramics and won numerous awards for them. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, puzzles, and listening to country music. Still, most of all, she enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook.

Anna is survived by her children, Janet (Thomas) Richardson of Lyndonville, NY. Linda (Gene) Scandurra of Citrus Heights, CA, Robert (Joan) McMahon of Palm Harbor, FL, Barry (Shannon) McMahon of Bedminster, NJ. Robin (John) Blosser of Greenlawn, NY, and Holly (Russ Kill) Frankel of Charleston, SC. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Wyse of Myerstown, PA, a brother, Charles Alberts of Lodi, NJ, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Anna is predeceased by her two husbands, Robert and Vincent McMahon, and five siblings, James Amont, George Alberts, Thomas Alberts, Rose DiSalvo, and Charlotte Ossman. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, from 9:30 AM- 10:30 AM at the County Line Country Church, 1385 Countyline Rd. Barker, NY 14012, where a memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM. Inurnment will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, following the service.
