Alton A. Brabon

Alton A. Brabon, 74, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.

Born on December 21, 1944, in St. Regis Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Eugene and Arietta (Cummings) Brabon.

Alton grew up in the St. Regis Falls area and later moved to the Lyndonville/Medina area. On August 26, 1972, he married the former Kathleen Kenyon and together they raised a daughter. He was employed with Iroquois Products of Brockport as a truck driver, retiring in 2000. After his retirement he worked as a grounds keeper at Lakeside Beach Park, Waterport, NY. In his spare time, Alton enjoyed hunting and fishing and staying at his cabin in St. Regis Falls.

Alton is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathleen Brabon, his daughter, Dawn (Joseph) Metty, grandchildren, Kevin and Arietta, all of Lyndonville, a brother, Harry (Ida) Brabon of Norwood, NY, several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, Molly.

Alton is predeceased by his brothers, Barclay, Jack and Harley.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 1, 2019, from 6 PM- 8 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098. A funeral service will be private for the family at their convenience.
