Suzanne E. “Sue” Robinson, 81, of Medina, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Villages of Orleans.

Born on October 22, 1935, in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Beatrice (Hood) Dunham.

Sue graduated from Medina High School in 1953 and from State University of New York at Geneseo in 1957, receiving her degree in Library Sciences; she graduated Valedictorian, Class President and Home Coming Queen. On August 9, 1958, she married the late James D. Robinson, together they raised 3 children. Sue taught in the Albion Elementary School and later worked in Lyndonville Primary and Elementary School, retiring in 1995. She was past President of her Teachers Sorority; Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She attended St. John’s Episcopal Church, holding the position of Warden. Sue was also a member of the Medina Garden Gals and she enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her children, John (Mary Ellen) Robinson of Wilbraham, MA, Dr. James (Cindy) Robinson of Medina, NY, and Patricia (Jesse) Balcerzak of Russellville, AR; 8 grandchildren: Heather, Andy, Becky, Joey, Jackie, Maureen, John, and Claire; two great-grandchildren, Cynthia Burd and Lachlan Ray, three siblings, Marsha Litchfield of Edgewater, FL, Richard (Barbara) Dunham and Kenneth (Barbara) Dunham, all of Knowlesville, NY, a sister-in-law, Joan Robinson of Cape Cod, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, September 24, 2017, from 4PM-7PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Mount Albion Cemetery.
