Sara Lee “Momma Dukes” Johnson, 56, of Medina, NY peacefully entered into rest at her home o Monday July 3, 2017.

Born on November 25, 1960 in Canastota, NY, she was the daughter of the late Erving and Patricia (Towntrow) Rich.

Sara grew in Morrisville, NY and in 1995 she moved to the Medina area. She worked various jobs, including Quack’s diner in Madison, NY and later for Rudy’s Diner in Medina, until her ill health forced her into retirement. She enjoyed collecting anything to do with dolphins and was a avid Miami Dolphins fan.

Sara is survived by three children, Patti Twiss of Medina; Matthew (Cherin) Shantal of Morrisville, NY; David (Tanya) Twiss of Medina; 10 grandchildren, four siblings, Irene (Steve) Phillips of Lakeland, FL; George (Lynn) Rich of N. Carolina; Jeannette (Allen) Barre of FL; Ronald Rich of Medina and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home from 11 AM- 1 PM, where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Pastor, Steven Pawley officiating.

Memorials may be made in Sara’s name to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy, Amherst, NY 14228.
