Russell A. Bruning of Lyndonville, NY entered into rest on September 6, 2017 in Medina, NY at the age of 62.

Russell was born on March 22, 1955 in Medina, NY to the late Louis and Dora (Eick) Bruning. He attended Lyndonville High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea where he met and married Namhee Kim. Together they settled in Lyndonville and raised their two sons. He was employed at Kodak until his retirement in 2012.

Russell is survived by his former wife Namhee and two sons Jeremiah and Jon Bruning. He is also survived by five siblings: Richard, Ronald (Yvonne), Robert, Donna, and Randy Bruning. Russell is preceded in death by his sibling Roger Bruning.

Calling hours will be held from 12 PM to 1 PM on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 North Main Street, Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a Funeral Service will held at 1:00 PM.

Burial service will follow at the Lynhaven Cemetery, 12 Housel Avenue, Lyndonville, NY 14098.
