Raymond K. “Ray” Farewell, 58, of Medina, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester as a result of injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.

Born on February 1, 1959 in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Norman W. and Rita (Barry) Farewell.

Ray graduated from Medina High School and was a lifelong resident of Medina. He was a member of the Lyndonville United Methodist Church. Ray is survived by his three siblings, Doug (Paula) Farewell, Patty (Dan King) Cook, all of Medina NY, Beverly (Tony) Stachewicz of Gasport NY and several nieces and nephews. Also, two friends, Sherry Shaffer and DeAnn Diermyer, both of Medina, NY and his girlfriend, Mary Slobbe of Holley.

Relatives and friends may call from 11 AM- 1 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Lyndonville United Methodist Church, 102 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Pastor, Rev. Beth Malone officiating. Burial will be in the West Ridgeway Cemetery, Medina, NY.
