Megan E. Dix, a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and dear friend who was loved by everyone she touched, went to be with the Lord on Friday August 25, 2017. Born September 2, 1983, Megan shared her life with her husband Chris and son C.J in Lyndonville, NY. The youngest of eight siblings, her six older brothers and older sister kept watch over her as she grew up. Megan and her parents, David and Deborah Duncanson, were very close and they often visited her at Lowes where she worked as a credit coordinator. Everyone knows she had her father wrapped around her finger. Megan had a big family and she especially loved it when they could all be together. Megan loved the outdoors and to go on long walks. When she was in high school she caught her husband’s eye when she would pick apples near his home. Chris and Megan were high-school sweethearts and inseparable from the moment they started dating. Megan, Chris and their son C.J loved attending Rochester Amerks games, going to the movies or out to dinner as a family. Megan enjoyed sitting around a campfire, going on vacation and bowling with her close friends. Megan was a fun person to be around and often lit up a room with her smile and loving nature. Megan and C.J loved to snoop for presents together around the holidays, and she absolutely loved being a mother. Megan was incredibly proud when she taught C.J to ride his bike without training wheels. She also loved to cuddle. There are no words that will truly express how much she will be missed. In addition to her parents, husband and son, Megan is survived by her siblings, Heather (Gregory) Raley, Bill (Roseanne) Duncanson, Rich (Hiro) Duncanson, Donny (Vicki) Duncanson, David (Terri) Duncanson, Chris (Denise) Duncanson, Jamie (Kari) Duncanson, Father and Mother-In-Law Howie (Margaret) Dix, brothers-in-law Charlie (Beth) Dix, Cody Dix, several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Relatives and friends may call on Thu., Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Road, Medina NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Lynhaven Cemetery.
