Lorelei Steinberg Raduns

Lorelei Steinberg Raduns, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at her home in Medina after a short illness.

Born July 13, 1949 in Batavia, NY, Lorelei was the daughter of Ralph and Marian (Wilcox) Stacy, and grew up in East Pembroke. She was a 1967 graduate of Pembroke High School and 1971 graduate of Wyoming County Community Hospital School in Warsaw. 

Lorelei's lifelong desire to help people led her to a nursing career at Genesee County Nursing Home, Batavia Nursing Home, Hospice of Orleans County and Medina Home Care, where she worked until her retirement.

Lorelei loved gardening, socializing, animals and caring for the elderly and under-privileged. She enjoyed travel and entertaining, and had a wonderful smile and sense of humor that could light up a room. Her home was also well-known for its extravagant Christmas decorations.

Lorelei was predeceased by her parents, brother David and granddaughter Judith. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, John Raduns; her children Ryan Steinberg of Corning, Matthew (Anne)Steinberg of Corfu, and Jason (Krissy) Raduns of Lyndonville; grandchildren Benjamin Steinberg, Samantha Raduns and Reese Raduns; brothers-in-law Tom (Brenda) Dubois and Gene Raduns; and brother Brian (Gail) Stacy of East Pembroke. Lorelei will also be forever remembered by her numerous dear friends.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2858 S. Lyndonville Rd. Medina, NY 14103 at 1:00 PM.
