Kenneth S. “Ken” Dack, 94, of Lyndonville, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, under Hospice care at the Martin-Linsin Residence, Albion, NY.

Born on October 13, 1922, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Sydney and Alice (Mixer) Dack. Ken graduated from Lyndonville High School and was drafted in the U.S. Army during WWII, having fought on several islands in the Pacific Theatre. Upon returning home, he married his high school sweetheart Marian Maines on May 18, 1943, Together they made their home in Lyndonville, raising a daughter. At one time Ken delivered eggs to the mom and pop stores in Niagara Falls and Buffalo. Later he served as Transportation Director at the Lyndonville Bus Garage, retiring after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Lyndonville Presbyterian Church. Ken enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially to their home in Myrtle Beach. His hobbies included antique cars and watching Buffalo Bills and Sabres games. Ken took much pride in his flower garden Ken had a love of family, country and nature.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Marian Dack, a daughter, Sueanne (Richard) Sanderson, grandchildren, Greg (Jessica) Sanderson , all of Lyndonville and Jenny Sanderson of Albion, A sister-in-law, Janet Maines of Albion, two nieces, Constance Maines of Lyndonville and Janis Maines of Waterport, NY.

Besides his parents, Ken is predeceased by a brother-in-law, Harry Maines and a nephew, Wilson Maines.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 11 AM -1 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112, N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Catherina Benjamin officiating. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery will full Military Honors.
