Joseph Bujalski, 77, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Obara) Bujalski and he was a lifelong resident of Ridgeway.
He leaves to mourn, his wife of 60 years, Barbara A. (Schmitt), two sons, Joseph (Tammy) and Stanley, five grandchildren, Janeen (Jason) Benziger, J.J. (Nicole) Bujalski, Joshua (Amanda) Bujalski, Cody and Alyx Bujalski, four great-grandsons, Jakob, James, Brayden, Bentley and many nieces and nephews.
Joseph attended a one room school house in Ridgeway and Medina High School. He was in the National Guard for eight years. Joseph graduated with a Construction Tech Degree from ECC. He was an amazing brick-layer, who loved his trade with over 50 years in the Lockport Local. Joseph worked as a field superintendent for Petrionio Construction before starting his own company, J.B Masonary. He earned his pilot license at Pine Hill Airport, Albion, NY. He attended many fly-in breakfasts over the years. He also had a passion for animals. In the 1970’s, he showed horses with his wife and two sons, where they won numerous ribbons and awards. Additionally, Joseph was a talented dog trainer and enjoyed feeding and watching birds.
Joseph’s family will always remember him for his kind heart, gentle spirit, great work ethic, Polish Pride and his love to visit with family and friends over good food and a beer.
Relatives and friends may call from 10 AM- 11 AM on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a Funeral Service will held at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Daniel J. Fawls officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
