Helen E. Pocock, 85, of Harlingen, TX, formerly of Byron, NY, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Medina, NY.

Born on October 7, 1931 in Batavia, NY, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mary (Butcher) Foster.

Helen graduated from Pavilion High School and then was employed as a Line Inspector at Rochester Products. On October 13, 1956 she married the late Thomas Pocock and together they raised a daughter. Helen retired in 1982 from Rochester Products. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Helen also loved to hear about her two granddaughters whom she loved very much.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Amy (Alan) Bilicki, two granddaughters, Madeline and Katie Bilicki, all of Medina, three siblings, Gloria (Arden) Curts of TX, Earl Foster of Bergen, NY, Mary Sue Norris of TX and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 from 11 AM to 12Noon at St. Brigid Church, 18 Gibson St. Bergen, NY 14416, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM and burial will be in the N. Byron Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Helen’s name to the Ronald McDonald House, 333 Westmoreland Dr. Rochester, NY 14620.
