Devante L. Boston, 20, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Women and Children’s Hospital, Buffalo, NY after a long illness.

Born on June 13, 1997 in Medina, NY, he was the son of Wilbert (Valerie) Boston Jr. of Tampa, FL, Robin Cheatham of Chicago and Elizabeth Satkowski of Medina, NY.

Devante was a happy and lovable boy. He enjoyed his trip to Florida with his grandmother and he loved riding his bike and playing with his dog. Even though his time on earth was short, Devante brought joy to the many lives he touched.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his paternal great-grandmother, Lucy Poole of Lockport, NY and maternal great grandmother, Grace Priest of Middleport NY, paternal grandparents, Bobbie (Catherine) Lindsey Sr. of Medina, NY Wilbert (Shonda Cummings) Boston Sr. of Auburndale, FL, maternal grandparents, Art (Pam) Satkowski of Las Vegas, NV, ten siblings, Izell Satkowski, Katie Spierdowis, Arianna Bloom, Xavier Bloom, Ivyonna Lopez , Jacqueria LaShati Boston, Jacquez Zion Boston, Alyze Boston, Jacari Boston, Dillion Boston. Also survived are seven aunts and uncles, Karen Boston of Medina, NY, Amanda (Scott) Stowe, Danielle Boston, all of Lockport, NY, William Edwards and Tyrell Boston, both of FL, Melinda (Jason) Cogovan and John Satkowski, all of Medina, NY and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Devante is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Nancy Satkowski. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 9:30 AM- 11AM at the First Baptist Church of Medina, 203 W. Center St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with the Rev. William M. Washington officiating and burial will be in the Hartland Central Cemetery.
