Barbara A. Bujalski, 80, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, in her home.
Born on January 2, 1939, in Buffalo, NY, Barbara was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Barbara (Bartmann) Schmitt. She married Joseph Bujalski on July, 18, 1957. They were married for 60 years, when he preceded her in death. Barbara was a long time resident of Ridgeway, NY. Raised by a hard working dairy farming family, she attended Lyndonville School and graduated from Medina High in 1957. She loved roller skating, cheerleading, black licorice, the sunshine, music and dancing. She spent many years crocheting blankets and making macramé chairs for her loved ones. She made amazing pancakes and the best chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Barbara enjoyed many years of competitively showing horses with her husband and sons. But, she will be most remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother with a generous and fun spirit. She sacrificially gave her time to create many wonderful memories with her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and they loved her dearly.
She was predeceased by her twin sister, Mary (Schmitt) Grosslinger; brother, Alfred Schmitt; and husband, Joseph Bujalski. Surviving from this loving union are sons, Joseph (Tammy) Bujalski and Stanley Bujalski; grandchildren: Janeen (Jason) Benziger, J.J. (Nicole) Bujalski, Joshua (Amanda) Bujalski, Cody Bujalski, and Alyx Bujalski; great-grandsons: Jakob and James Benziger and Brayden and Bentley Bujalski. Also surviving is her sister, Eleanor (Hermann) Pohl and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at West Ridgeway Cemetery. The date will be announced in the early spring.
