Ruth A. Woodworth, 85, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Villages of Orleans, Albion. Born on November 2, 1931, in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Krause) Bracey. Ruth grew up in Medina, graduating from Medina High School and in April of 1950 she married the late Frank B. Woodworth and together settled on the family farm in Lyndonville, raising four children. At one time she was employed with the Lyndonville Canning Factory and the Lyndonville School Cafeteria. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and canning, wildlife watching and camping. She was a member of the Lyndonville Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her four children, Elaine (William) Thering of North Carolina, Janice (Danny) Dunn of Medina, Sandra Baker of North Carolina and Mark (Julie) Woodworth of Lyndonville, seven grandchildren, Gregory Thering, Christopher, Andrew and Kimberly Gardner, Holly, Jacob and Dale Hopkins, great-grandchildren, Drew, Owen, and Quinn Gardner, Steven and Zoey Dunn and Tristan Rey, and a niece, Donna Riemer of Medina. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a sister, Marian Riemer.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, December 18th, 2016 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM. Ruth’s ashes will be buried on July 1st , 2017 in the Lynhaven Cemetery with the time to announced. Memorials may be made in Ruth’s name to: Alzheimer’s Association, 2805 Wehrle Dr. Buffalo, NY 14221.
