Roger J. “Rog” Mundion, 69, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the Medina Memorial Hospital with his loving family at his side.

Born on May 29, 1948, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Donald and Muriel (Fox) Mundion.

Roger graduated from Medina High School in 1967 and in 1968 he started employment with Harrison Radiator in Lockport. On July 24, 1971, he married the former Diane Plueckhahn and together they made their home in Medina, raising two children. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing euchre, but most of all; he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Roger is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane Mundion, children, John Mundion and Kim Young, both of Medina, two grandchildren, Andy Reed of Albion and Lyndsay Young of Medina, a sister, Bonnie (Chris) Matthews of Lockport. Also, survived are several nieces and nephews and cousins and his dog “Chubby”.

Relatives and friends may call from 3 PM -8 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY, 14103, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, 11:00 AM with the Pastor David Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery.
