Roberta Maxine Murray, 86, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Absolut Care of Gasport, after a short illness.

Born on November 9, 1931 in Honeoye Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Onnlee (Parks) Smith.

On June 10, 1950, she married the late Les Murray and together they made their home in Waterport, raising three children. Maxine enjoyed bird watching and picking strawberries.

Maxine is survived by two daughter-in-law’s, Connie Murray, Sandy Murray, both of Medina, a son-in-law, Bob Bowen of Lyndonville, five grandchildren, Danielle (Jonathan) Reisdorf of Corfu, NY, Les (Jill) Murray of Hatboro, PA, Melissa (Chris) Marquart of Waterloo, NY, Chad (Tara) Murray of Decatur, IL and Amanda (Steve Crowe) Bowen of West Seneca, NY, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Maxine is predeceased by two sons, Edward and Daniel, a daughter, Debra, six siblings, Richard, Russell, Roy, Ray, Wayne, and Irene Lusk.

Relatives and friends may call from 10 AM-11 AM on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Russell Peters officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorials may be made in Maxine’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
