Robert E. Woodworth, 59, of Lyndonville, NY, entered into rest at the Martin-Linsin Residence, Albion, NY on Sunday, October 2, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 10, 1957 in Albion, NY to the late Roger and Betty (Dix) Woodworth. Robert was a graduate of Lyndonville Central School, Class of 1975 and lived in this area all his life. Robert had a great sense of humor, was quick witted and enjoyed practical jokes-some of which he went to great lengths to accomplish. His greatest joy was time spent with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Robert is survived by his two sons, Christopher Woodworth of Ohio and Gregory (Alicia) Woodworth, his grandchildren, Ava, Griffin and Emma, all of N. Tonawanda, two brothers, Roger A. (Mary Jane) and Terry (Carla) and a sister, Dixie Woodworth, all of Lyndonville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 11AM-2PM at the Lyndonville Presbyterian Church, 107 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, with a funeral service at 2:00 PM with the Pastor, Rev. Catherine Benjamin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Robert’s name to: Hospice of Orleans County, P.O.Box 489, Albion, NY 14411.
