Randall D. “Randy” Cooper, 73 of Albion, NY, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October, 20, 2016 at the Martin-Linsin Residence, Albion, with his loving wife and daughters and dear friend, Mae Mohney at his side. He was born on March 16, 1943 in Medina, NY, the son of the late Benjamin and Virginia (Wirth) Cooper. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and after serving he settled in Texas working as a machinist. In the early 90”s he returned to Lyndonville area and perused his love of restoring antique and classic cars. In July of 1995, he married the former Mary Plummer and together they made their home in Kenyonville. He enjoyed going to car shows and cruise nite, having won several awards and was a active member of the Medina American Legion. Randy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary Cooper; children, Michael (Jodi) Cooper of Flower Mound, TX; Todd (Kim) Cooper of Euless, TX; Sherri (Carl Babcock) Manning of Lyndonville; Christine Manning of Medina; grandchildren, Tate and Kara Cooper; Bryan Babcock ; great-grandson, Devon Babcock, siblings, Jereld (Montoya) Cooper of Georgia; Christine (Rodney) Bacon of Lockport and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098 on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 10:30 AM with the Rev. Kim Smith officiating and burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery with full Military Honors accorded by members of Lincoln Post #1483 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Randy’s name to: Hospice of Orleans Co. P.O.Box 489, Albion, NY 14411 or to a charity of one’s choice.
