Paul B. Archer, 74, of Medina, NY, went to with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his home, with his loving family at his side.

Born on January 23, 1943, in Canastota, NY, he was the son of the late Glen and Louise (Hamlin) Archer.

Paul grew up in Canastota and attended SUNY of Brockport, where he received a Degree in Education. On August 22, 1964, he married the former Ann Marie Mott and together raised a son, William. Paul taught History at Medina High School for a short period of time and later drove truck for Teleservice and lastly, for Sieck Wholesale, up until his retirement. Paul was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and a former Board Member of the Cobblestone Society. He was a proud grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.

Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Marie Archer, son, William (Marsha Ducey) Archer of Hamlin, NY, granddaughter, Audry, siblings, Alan (Eileen) Archer of Minoa, NY, Carol Cassler of Canastota, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Paul is predeceased by a brother, Ralph Archer.

There will be no prior calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Parish/St. Mary’s Church, on Eagle Street, Medina, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Fawls. Burial will be private for the family.
