Patricia J. “Pat” McAdoo, 85, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home. Born on June 17, 1931, in Eagle Harbor, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Bessie (Slevzik) Fletcher. Pat married the late Robert F. McAdoo on June 27, 1949 and together they made their home in Medina and raised five children. At one time, Pat worked at the Lyndonville Canning Co., but mostly was a devoted house wife and mother. She a member of the Oak Orchard Assembly God Church and in her spare time enjoyed knitting, crocheting, camping and gardening. Pat is survived by four children, Bob (Tina) McAdoo of Medina; Rick (Carry) McAdoo of Clymer, PA; David (Christine) McAdoo and Lori Hosmer, all of Medina; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pat is predeceased by a daughter, Connie Hamilton, son-in-law, Steve Hosmer, sister, Louise Calkins, a brother, Lenard Fletcher and two grandsons, Joseph Hamilton and Thomas Hosmer. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 3:30 PM -5 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM with the Rev. Daniel A. Thurber officiating. Burial will in the West Ridgeway Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pat’s name to: Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Rd. Medina, NY 14103.
